First I gotta say, I BOUGHT this because I LOVE Hangover and I love RDJ. So...

I can't watch it again. Zac was pulling SO MUCH on my nerves, I was about to turn it off in the middle of it. Robert's character was so nice and sweet and trying to stay calm, it was just heart wrenching. I adored him. I could certainly understand why he wanted to leave the other guy. And then he was just too good a person to do that.
I think the audience was meant to like Zac's character in the end, but I sure don't. What a night mare, with the sleeping while driving and then AGAIN smoking DRUGS while driving! And and and...I'm sorry to those who liked it, I certainly don't. Even though I think Robert might have had fun doing this movie.

I might use it to do some pix and use Peter as Tony Stark, cuz they do look alike :D
We also liked the music. Otherwise, thumb down.

I pray Hangover II wont have so much Zac...(sorry to the fans who like him!)

I felt exactly the same way. Robert sells Peter, his anger, frustration and pain, but Gallifanikas is so outclassed being in the same movie with RDJ --he literally sucks all the energy out of the film.

For a character to become likable it is generally understood they have to undo some change in the course of the story. The Peter character certainly did, but Ethan or whoever, did not. He was the same clueless, annoying, man baby he started out, inflicting pain and disaster on everyone he encounters.

Zac G. plays one character and I'm sorry, he doesn't even do that convincingly. His Ethan inspired no sense of empathy or understanding, he was just annoying.

I will never willingly watch anything with that guy again. And even though I love RDJ, I won't own or willingly watch Due Date again either!

Good for you saying it like it is!

RDJ did have fun making the movie, playing an angry character has to be incredibly cathartic--it is just a shame what could have been fun and amusing was ruined by miscasting the director's favorite non talent to costar.

We watched this on Friday night and I'll agree. It had it moments, though and was good for a few laughs. The scene with him in the back of the truck while they were hitting bumps got me. I used to do the same to friends growing up in a small town. ;P

And RDJ in the trailer getting hauled down the highway, I think people forget how good he can be at physical comedy. It's one of the reasons I love Kiss Kiss Bang Bang so much.

i respect RDJ so much, even when i am not a fan, but this movie was beyond horrible, i didnt like it at all..but then..i dont like movies like this one...where drugs, alcohol, hit a child and stuff like that are "funny".

The only scene that really fascinated me, was, when Zach touches Robert's cheek :) Why did Robert sign the contract for this movie :)??? We will never know :) He stated, he had fun on the set... Well. He is still young and needs the money :)
