Hey Del! I don't know if this helps but I took screencaps of this post (btw I'm viewing your journal in my style so don't freak out when your journal looks different ;))
It looks like something's wrong around 'thank you' notes? Try taking a close look there and you can find the cause, maybe?
It just might be another LJ glitch, which is happening quite frequently, but I tried to post to my journal using an lj cut, typed html manually as usual, and it posted without any problems. So I think LJ is working (at least to me). Hope you can figure out what's wrong quickly! :)
