Oh, way cool Del! I love your banner!!! Despite the slams that 'Dracula' got when it first came out, it's simply so addictive to watch and Gary Oldman is why!LOL He makes such a deliciously fabulous vamp, dontcha think?!
kj?????? WHOAAAA I thought you are only JD fan! SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU TOO THINK DRACULA is worth watching because of Gary!! WOW, COOL :D He should have been more in his sexy form and not in the various monstrous masks.....
ONLY a JD fan? Nah......am a huge horror fan! I've yet to come across a film that scares me as much as Evil Dead though! Dracula was on the TV the other night and I sat through the awful British accents just to see Gary's performance!!lol
LOL! I knew what you meant Del! Don't worry 'bout it :-)
Oh yeah! I mean, what do you think of Keanu and Winona's attempt of the upper-crust posh British accent? I cringed and I'm a Yorkshire lass!lol
Gary is great, loved him in this film, he played a very 'different' Dracula, one that you could feel for. Have you seen The Fifth Element? That film is funny!!
I've never watched another Dracula, and I can definately feel for Prince Vlad. His sadness and loss because of his princess dying, almost lets one forget that he actually is a bad killer.
I don't know about that accent...for me english is english *blush*.
I haven't watched the fifth element yet. Some say it's good, some say it's too weird LOL But I definately will watch it sooner or later.
I know. Dracula is usually this bloodthirsty monster, now I know Gary did an excellent job at doing the blood sucking monster bit but then was compassionate and so sad too.
One of the best portrayals I've seen.
English IS English but what they did was questionable!LOL
Oh Del, you have to try Fifth Element!! It's top notch!!
hehe I didn't care either that the blood dripped out. Him as a vampire is just so freakin hot! And the contrast between the BLUE of the eyes and the blood was just tickling my art-muse.
I really like what you've done with the good side of him. So romantic. I love the colors... He IS Dracula for me, if they want to do another movie with that character, it's going to be hell to find someone else after him ;-))
I fell-in-love with him in this movie. Butterflies in my stomach, tears in my eyes, sorta thing. I thought I was going to die from it for a while but it faded. Your beautiful wall reminded me of that crush. ;o)
