Liam in Unkown (Identity)

COOL MOVIE!!! Imo, very thrilling and truely worth watching if you like action stuff. I actually wanted to watch it in two sessions but I COULND'T tear my eyes away from the screen. Spoilers under the cut I loved that they spoke real German in the background and in a lot of scenes. It was wonderful to watch it in English and actually understand all the German as well! I think it's very nice of Mr. Neeson to come to Berlin and do a movie here :D And say a few German words hehe!) Since I haven't seen similiar movies, I couldn't guess the plot either and it was absolutely interesting how much love they took for detail! That ex-Stasi man's (Herr Jürgen) appartment? It ABSOLUTELY looked like back in GDR times when I was a kid!
Liam was AWESOME as always!!! I could absolutely believe his total bewilderment, his desperation. I liked Gina too. Even though I thought he'd end up with his "wife". So did she really love him? She tried to stop the bomb after all...Poor her!
After all, this again, could, just like Limitless for Bradley, be an experience Hannibal had in the past. Especially with the fake passports and the explaining of the assassination (making the plan). I loved that he stayed the good guy in the end :D Of course :D
Oh on a side note. Susan Downey was one of the producers, that name caugth my eye right in the beginning. I think that's somehow even more cool :D

Hey Del ! :D
Date: 2011-10-11 08:27 pm (UTC)I haven't seen this movie, but if you want another thriller with Liam you should try and watch Under suspicion. I haven't seen it in a long while but I remember liking it. Plus there's a nice shower scene and I didn't see the end coming, which is always a good thing ;)

I'm not sure at the moment if I want to buy "The Fighter" since Christian looked so different. Maybe I rent it first if they have it in my library. huggsss

Date: 2011-10-12 11:09 am (UTC)Yes, still crazy about the SPN boys ;D We just heard yesterday that one of them is gonna be a daddy next year, I think the fandom's reaction might be amusing ;) Anyway, I'm enjoying the 7th season of the show, regardless of anything else. And beside this, I'm more and more into Hawaii Five-0, the fics at least, as this new season is too different so far and not as enjoyable (and slashable) as the first one. But there are some fantastic writers out there to make it better, just like in SPN.
I've bought the Fighter DVD but didn't make time yet to watch it. Work is worse than ever as we're extending one of our services so I probably won't watch it before my next vacation. Have you seen the first pics of the filming of TDKR ? I can't wait for that one !

Date: 2011-10-14 05:25 am (UTC)Hawai 5-0 is playing on our TV as well. I saw the adds but at first sight there is no character I would immediately think "OH MY GOD! I need to watch this" But I've heard a lot of it's slashyness. I started to watch Navy CIS L.A. with Chris O'Donell but I haven't really gotten into that either. I'm still majorly hooked to the A-Team and it's actors' movies plus I try to sort out my RL as well. Which is complicated *sigh*
I did not look at anything "TDNR" because, you know me, I don't want to be spoiled!!! I can't wait for that to come out either!!!
hugssss
Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-12 10:47 am (UTC)I thought it was above average; the plot twist was well done and the sense of spiraling insanity was palatable. I'm always interested in knowing that the languages are correct in a film. Continuity is a big thing for me (some OCD!), so it be accurate makes me happy.
Another Liam thriller (if you haven't seen it) is Taken. It's not exactly the same type of thriller; it's more of a revenge film, but he has similar skills. Liam Neeson kicking ass is something I'll never get tired of seeing.
Two movies of his coming out are "The Grey" (he's a plane crash survivor) and "Battleship" (which I think, unfortuntately, is based on the old board game). At my work we talk about "Battleship" a lot, because of the ridiculous premise. But I'll see it anyway, because Liam's in uniform, and on the hope he will say,
"You sank my battleship!" heehee
Re: Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-14 05:32 am (UTC)I'll have a look if Battleship will be in my theatre. And isn't The Grey that one with Russell Crowe? I will surely go and watch that as well! Do you know if Bradley has any upcoming movie as well? I never seem to have enough time to look something like that up!
Re: Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-14 10:44 am (UTC)Unfortunately, R.Crowe isn't in "The Grey". It's about a plane crash and the survivors have to fight off wolves. There seem to be a lot of movie lately about people being attacked in the cold by wolves (okay, so there are only two movies like that, but still). My suspension of disbelief is pretty well exercised, but that particular bit of inaccuracy I have to snort at and make deriding comments about during the film.
Neeson's also playing Zeus again in "Wrath of the Titans" as a sequel to "Clash of the Titans".
B.Cooper has a few things coming up; most exciting (for me) is playing Lucifer in "Paradise Lost." I love the idea of Lucifer being achingly beautiful, and Cooper in that part makes me pant. There are a few more things he's working on "The Words", "Silver Lining Playbook" and "The Place Beyond the Pines" that I've seen some stills from. There was also rumor he was going to star in a remake of "The Crow", but that never happened. That's a little sad, because I'd have liked to see a gothy B.Cooper--I think it would be something new to see from him.
Sorry to open the floodgates! I like movies (have a degree in film) and like to talk about them. :)
Re: Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-18 02:35 pm (UTC)Yes, I certainly will watch EVERYTHING Brad makes in the future (except horror, I hope he won't do that again). And Lucifer certainly will be a wonderful challenge for him. And Liam fighting wolves sounds interesting too!
Re: Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-20 12:29 am (UTC)It's interesting; B.Cooper isn't my usual 'type' of guy at all. I like geeky, dark-haired, dark-eyed, skinny guys such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt . . . not to-die-for handsome blue-eyed hunks. But there's just something about him! I've watched some pretty bad movies with him in them ("Bending All the Rules"--gag and awful actress), and realized I've watched movies I didn't even *know* he was in until later ("My Little Eye"--liked it; it's horror). And yes, I will watch all his future projects too!
Re: Liked it too
Date: 2011-10-30 08:19 am (UTC)I'll watch everything with Liam as I can get my hands on it and also look forward to Bradley's career. I wish Sharlto would do more movies!!!
