fandom jumpinggggg...this wall was a b++ch. I started it last year and it just didn't want to cooperate because of the bad cut of the caps. (Why do they so seldom show all of the peoples heads???)
Love the shots you used, and the captions look great too. (Adding text is not one of my talents.)
And I totally agree. What’s with all the cutting off of heads? I end up searching through other shots to find tops of heads that I can adapt to fit the cut off ones. It makes everything take 2-3 times longer than it should.
Hey Rustie!! Happy new year! It was a real surprise to see a comment from you to this wall :D Did you watch T4?
Even when I am in the theatre now, I think "Woah, great close up." but then I realize, that they again cut off the top of the actor's head and I groan inwardly, knowing I'll have trouble to make a proper wall. I am not skiful enough to put the top of the head on from another shot (or just not patient enough).
Your Santa/Newsie icon is cool. Did you make it yourself?
I wanted to ask you something else since xmas, when I saw "Driven". It's a car racing movie with Robert Sean Leonard in a minor but great slashy role with one of the leads. I had to sit down and write a PWP after it. Would you please beta it for me? It's brothers though...
And yes, I know, Arvid's story is still waiting here to be finished...
I’m still alive and well, but haven’t had much time for LJ and fandom.
Actually, I haven’t seen T4. It’s on the long list of movies that I want to see, but haven’t gotten to.
I’m sure that your skills are good enough to add the top of heads to the caps, but it does take an incredible amount of time. It’s the projects like those that keep me from having time to do little else.
I tried to do the same thing with the image I used in my Happy New Year posting. After I changed the color of the clothing to match Medda’s style, I added her head. Unfortunately, I ended up with an image that looked like a transvestite needing a shave. Needless to say, I did away with Medda and used the original head.

The original picture I used for my Santa/Newsie icon was from a 1912 Saturday Evening Post magazine cover. I made a few changes and added Les’s head to Newsiefy it. Here’s the original http://pics.livejournal.com/rustie73/pic/0007stye/g51
and here’s a better image of my version. http://pics.livejournal.com/rustie73/pic/0007fztk/g51

I’d be happy to take a look at your new story.
