I've never heard that Anne Rice has other pennames or about The witching hour or the Sleeping Beauty...sounds like that last one is about a woman LOL THANKS!!!! My next book I was going to read was Bram Stockers Dracula, though...even though my sis said it was nothing like the movie. Did you read that too?

OMG you really need to get these books!!!! I didn't read Bram Stokers Dracula yet but will eventually. but here is my suggestion to you. I really think that before you get into that you REALLY need to read the Sleeping Beauty series. I'm telling you it's just all slashy goodness before most people even knew what slash was :D. There are 3 books in that series. The first one is called "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty" (the title alone should get you) the next is "Beauty's Punishment" and the third is "Beauty's Release"and these are all written under A.N. Roquelare. When you're done those you should pick up "Exit to Eden" under her name Anne Rampling. And then if you want something really deep and extensive read the "Witching Hour". It's about 1000 pages but it's absolutely brilliant.

I've looked it up at Amazon. But where is the slashyness in it since the sleeping beauty is a woman?

Right. My bad I used the wrong term I think. It's mostly Gen with slashy goodness thrown in. And some BDSM for good measure. I forget all the details since it's been a while since I've read the books. I just know that they are well well worth the read.

Thanks Gina for the clarification! They are on my list anyway ;) I do have "the Mummy" and Memnoch the devil. I haven't read them yet. I hope they are worth the read as well!

The Mummy was a good read and definelty worth it. I don't know that it was one of her better books but it's good. And Memnoch is definely worth the read since the conversations between God and the devil really get your mind going. But I'm glad to hear that you're going to read the Beauty series they really are amazing.
