question for my flist - fandom jumping

Hi all!

I've never done this before but I am getting a bit overwhelmed lately. So, my dears, how do you feel about jumping fandoms? Looking at my tags page, I just KNOW I like too much stuff already. But more and more is suggested to me (Twilight, SN). And, knowing myself, once a friend has suggested it and I have looked into it, there is mostly no turning back. But I don't want to abandon my old fandoms especially since new fandoms always go along with buying new stuff and I just can not do that right now.

I'm sure this happened to all of you in some way or other. How do you handle it?

knowing myself, once a friend has suggested it and I have looked into it, there is mostly no turning back I must have done my job very badly then, since you're still not falling for SPN ;D

We've talked about that already but I think I need to have one big fandom and many smaller ones to keep me entertained and to always have a vast choice available and never get bored. As someone else above said, the more the better ! I'd rather feel overwhelmed by too many goodies and to know that there's always something interesting to watch/read/make a wallpaper about, than wonder what to do. I think once SG-1 was over, I just needed to find a new big fandom and SPN was it for me. You know how deeply and how quickly I fell in love with the boys :D Definitely the biggest fandom I've ever been a part of, and I love it ! But I'm not forgetting any of my previous, smaller ones. As for money, fandom is my first hobby so I don't mind spending some on DVDs.

I can't even read most of your tags ;D Though I do read very well Christian Bale ;)

Merci Siriala!!! I may not be able to watch SPN but you confinced me about Christian, that's why you can see his tag so very well ;) I think you are right, the more the better. I will try and won't let me be overwhelmed but enjoy the different stuff just when the muse strikes :D bisous
